As of the 1st of June 2021 North West Boroughs Healthcare merged with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust becoming Mid Mersey Division.
It is a time of change and during this transition period our existing employee networks are here to support you and will continue.

The Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Network has been established by the Trust for employees, bank staff, volunteers and students regardless of grade, role or contract length. Regular meetings are held once per month, these meetings are open to all including those with a positive interest in driving forward equality within the Trust. The network also has an executive Sponsor who has chosen to champion the network.
The aims of the BME network are as follows:-
- To provide a forum for BME network members to discuss, and raise awareness on issues relating to race
- To provide professional support and networking opportunities
- To act as a voice for BME network members offering a source of support and a means of communicating with the Trust about BME issues
