3 September 2020
World Suicide Prevention Day is on 10 September and every year we join the campaign to raise awareness of suicide prevention. Each year there is a different theme and this year the theme is hope.
To mark the day, our Suicide Prevention Group wants to share ideas, advice or tips about the different things that can help someone find or hold onto hope when they're struggling.
The idea is that someone who has hope is not as likely to end their life. Finding hope may not always be easy but sometimes an idea or example can inspire the hope that someone needs.
Everyone is different so please share anything you think could help someone rediscover and or keep hold of their hope.
Send your ideas and contributions to firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject header ‘Project Hope’.
We will use this information to develop a toolbox of hope on our suicide prevention webpages and will share these ideas across the organisation and on our social media channels.
